In West Asheville. Tuesday to Saturday, 8 am to 5 pm.
There are only ever two dogs in the shop at once, so every dog gets a calm, unhurried visit.
02 / How a visit goes
Your dog’s day, start to finish.
- Before
Book your visit
Tell us your dog, the service and its size, and any extras. Ask for Tess or Kai, or take whoever’s free. Your card goes on file, and nothing is charged until after the visit.
- Arrive
Drop off at 41 Haywood Rd
Bring your dog in at your booked time and tell us anything that helps. Then go get on with your day.

Here’s roughly how long each visit runs. Nobody hurries a nervous dog.

We text you when they’re ready
When your dog is done, you get a text to come on by. You pay in full then, on the card on file.
03 / Your first visit
Three things we need to know first.
A current rabies record
Rabies is the only vaccine we require, and it has to be on file before your dog’s first visit.
Your dog is 4 months or older
We don’t groom puppies under 4 months.
Your dog’s size
Large means over 40 lb, and prices go by size. Not sure? Weigh yourself holding your dog, then without, and take the difference.

04 / Canceling
24 hours is all we ask.
If plans change, give us at least 24 hours’ notice and it costs nothing. Inside 24 hours, or if your dog doesn’t come in, there’s a $25 fee on your card on file.
- Nothing up front. Your card goes on file when you book, and you pay in full after the visit.
- Same rule for everyone, Bramble Club members included.
- Club members keep their bath. After a late cancel or no-show, you pay the fee and can still rebook that month’s bath within the month.

Which vaccines do you require?
Only rabies is required and it has to be on file before the first visit.
How do drop-off and pick-up work?
Owners drop the dog off and get a text when it's ready.
What if I need to cancel?
24 hours notice or a $25 fee.
What counts as a large dog?
Over 40 lb.
Do you groom puppies?
No, we don't groom puppies under 4 months. They're welcome once they've had their rabies shot.
How long will my dog be with you?
Bath & Brush: About 1.5 hours. Full Groom: About 2.5 hours. Nail Trim: About 15 minutes. We text you when your dog is ready.
When do I pay?
After the visit. Your card goes on file when you book, and you pay in full once your dog is ready.
Can I ask for Tess or Kai?
Yes. Ask for Tess or Kai by name, or take whoever’s free. Kai is great with doodles and big dogs.
My dog gets nervous. Is that okay?
That’s who we opened Bramble for. There are only ever two dogs in the shop, and every dog gets a calm, unhurried visit. People say their anxious dogs actually walk in happy.
When are you open?
Tuesday to Saturday, 8 am to 5 pm, at 41 Haywood Rd in West Asheville.
Can I add a nail trim, teeth brushing or de-shedding?
Yes, add any of them to a visit: Nail Trim $15, Teeth Brushing $10, De-shedding $20. Bramble Club members get nail trims free and 10% off the rest.
Do Bramble Club members pay the late-cancel fee?
Yes, the $25 fee applies to everyone. A member keeps that month’s bath, though, and can rebook it within the month. More about Bramble Club.
